The products from KontrolFreek have been a mainstay in the gaming community for a long time now. They’ve been so successful in fact, that Microsoft and other controller manufacturers have been producing new controllers with extended joysticks already built in. Rather than pay a premium price for those controllers, I strongly consider trying a set of KontrolFreeks yourself. They are removable and work on both the Playstation and Xbox platforms (just buy the right model).
Not only do you have different color choices, but you also have different height options as well as the grip design. Be sure to research all the differences and purchase the one that makes most sense to you. For high action FPS games, I recommend any line that has the tall height with a concave sheep (curves inward). The FPS line is great because it has tiny grips on the thumbstick itself which gives you the best control when in a high stress situation.
