ROCCAT makes incredible keyboards and mice for the money, with my daily drivers being the new Vulcan Pro keyboard and Burst Pro mouse. The Vulcan Pro is an amazing keyboard, not only in the looks department but also in features and performance. Not everyone wants a jam packed keyboard, or even mechanical key switches. Some in fact prefer membrane but may not always have too many good options. With that being said the new Magma and Pyro keyboards are available for Preorder now.
ROCCAT’s new Magma keyboard features a fully illuminated top plate (yes you heard that right) with 5-zone RGB control and a detachable palm rest for only $59.99 MSRP. It takes their AIMO lighting system to another level (we’ve discussed AIMO in all of our ROCCAT reviews in the past) which should liven up your desk a bit. This affordable keyboard also features anti-ghosting technology which means you can press as many keys at once that your heart desires. This product was just announced today so don’t expect any big reviews on it yet but we hope to provide more coverage on this soon. In the meantime, it’s worth looking into!

If you desire mechanical but still want an affordable keyboard, ROCCAT has also launched the Pyro, which features a brushed metal top plate with full RGB control on the key caps for $99.99. The Pyro uses TTC linear (red) switches with a 2.0mm actuation point and 45g of operating force. Total travel is 4mm which gives you a good balance of actuation and performance. The Pyro also features a volume knob on the top right corner of the keyboard which is my number #1 feature add for keyboard functions.

There isn’t too much other information to share for the time being, but I’m really excited to see these new keyboards in people’s hands. I’ve been a huge fan of ROCCAT products lately and making high quality products that are even more affordable means everyone wins. Export more coverage from us on this soon!
