XGIMI Announces New Halo+ FHD Portable Projector

XGIMI, known for affordable yet high performing projectors, has released another compelling model to their lineup. Meet the Halo+, which is currently selling for $849 as of February 2022. The new Halo+ FHD Smart Portable Projector offers smarter setup, more power, brightness, & expanded features while maintaining unrivalled flexibility & portability for the most demanding uses. The new Halo+ has a brighter output with upgraded hardware to provided a better movie watching experiencing without losing what made the original Halo great.

Halo+ Front

Halo+ has been optimized for immediate use with added intelligence, making setup a breeze and maximizing performance right out of the box. XGIMI’s X-VUE and Intelligent Screen Adaption (ISA) technology combined with XGIMI’s industry-leading Vertical and Horizontal Auto Keystone Correction offers users the ability to set up Halo+ from almost any angle and in almost any environment.

The Halo+ is battery operated which is great, but the 2 hour battery life may not always “make it”. With more movies passing the 2 hour play time, you should plan your power accordingly. It’s nice to have these feature for quick setups, and the Halo+ works while plugged in, so in most cases this isn’t an issue. A 3-4 hour battery here would have been amazing for guaranteeing a full movie play through.

Part of the shorter battery life is due to the 900 ANSI lumen rating paired with a Harmon Kardon Dolby speaker system that provides much better sound than a projector’s typically poor audio performance. Of course a big speaker system will sound better, but having this all in one package is very convenient (much like having a battery). The Halo+ also runs Androidtv version 10, with Chromecast support, Bluetooth 5.0, and dual-band Wifi (rated up to AC, no AX here). You also get a much appreciated 6 second boot time which is great.
